A prototype with no dead ends

Rawaa’s prototype links 62 screens on desktop and mobile. The rule I used: every screen needs a way forward or a way back.

From the project: Rawaa

A prototype with no dead ends

From landing page to the last tab

The desktop flow starts on the landing page and runs through sign-up, the four onboarding steps and every page of the owner app, with dialogs, toasts and dark mode. The mobile flow starts on the splash screen and reaches every tab.

The dead-end check

  1. Start from the first screen of each flow.
  2. Follow every link and list every screen you can reach.
  3. Any screen with no way forward and no way back is a bug, even in a prototype.
  4. Dialogs and toasts always have a way back.

People judge a product by the click that goes nowhere. A prototype is no different.
