User flows // UX research

Flows before screens

In Sehati our team mapped five user flows with every decision point. The waiting list exists because of one decision point.

From the project: Sehati

Flows before screens

Five flows

  • Sign in: do you have an account, and is the data valid?
  • Book a doctor: is the time available?
  • Pharmacy: is it the right item, and which payment method?
  • AI assistant: ask a follow-up, save the answer, or go home.
  • Online consultation: is there an active subscription?

One decision point, one feature

Drawing “Time available?” forced the question nobody had asked: what happens when the answer is no? The flow gave three exits, join a waiting list, pick another time or pick another doctor, and the waiting list became part of the booking flow.

A flow is cheap to change. A screen built for the happy path only is not.
